Ask an Expert - Forum > Smaller Kraft pads or darker Stonehenge Colors options?

I recently got some Stonehenge mini pads to test out and absolutely love the Stonehenge Kraft paper! However I notice I that unlike some of the other pads, it only comes in 2 sizes. I’m looking for a smaller pad for the mini marker and colored pencil pieces I do and was wondering if there are any plans to release the Kraft pad in the 5x7 size in the future?

I know I can cut down the larger sheets but hate the idea of having to do that every single time.

Alternatively (or additionally), I’d love a Stonehenge Colors pad with some darker paper options. I was a bit surprised to find most of the choices in the “colors” pad are several shades of white/cream and only 2 fairly light toned papers. An “only toned” pad with fawn, pearl gray, steel gray, and Kraft (and maybe even black) would be perfect for those of us who prefer to work on a variety of darker toned papers!
Especially considering how great this paper is for colored pencils (and how great colored pencils look on toned paper).

Something like that in 5x7 and 9x12 would definitely be my go-to paper pad if it existed!

Thanks for your feedback! At this time we do not have any plans to introduce the 5x7 format to the Kraft pad range, unfortunately.

We passed your suggestion for a toned pad to the product development team.

For a smooth black paper you might be interested in the Stonehenge Aqua Hotpress Black pads. This paper works exceptionally well with colored pencil and markers.

The smallest format in this family is 8"x10"
